Anne Bartuszevige
As Conservation Science Director at Playa Lakes Joint Venture, Anne brings a wealth of experience focused on grassland ecosystems, avian science, and private lands conservation. After completing her Ph.D. in Botany at Miami University in Ohio, she was a post-doc researcher at Oregon State University’s Eastern Oregon Agricultural Research Center in Union, Oregon. PLJV has been working with producers and rural communities to incorporate playas into water conservation planning through their Tomorrow’s Water campaign and have begun developing tools to demonstrate the value of conserving playas such as the new Playa Recharge and Wetness Estimator.
